The old historic center of Cartagena is surrounded by 11 km of the city wall. Inside is one of the world’s most spectacular UNESCO world heritage sites.

“We went to Cartagena during the wet season and the rains were pouring. That didn’t stop the Cartagena tour guides from showing us the city though. I swear our tour guide knows everyone in Cartagena as every where we went people were saying hello to him and telling us he was the best. And we agree. The guide and our driver were very accommodating to my mother who can’t walk very long distances or do stairs so we had a wheel chair with us. The views from san pedro claver chirch is amazing! We were able to see the Pastelillo fortress and the San Felipe fortress which were amazing to see. Our tour guide showed us some beautiful parts of old town and modern parts of the city. He showed us some great areas to take pictures and did an amazing job sharing culture, history, and the beauty of Columbia!
